Post-flight Analysis
- A great test day with two very nice flights and a few good static tests. The first flight was on a L950 which was so fast, the fins eventually ripped off. The second flight was Alberto's rocket on my K450 PVC engine which was a beautiful flight with full recovery and on-board video. Also tested were some end burning sugar engines with good results.
Construction
- 3" ABS with 1/4" plywood fins and a plastic nosecone.
Pros
- Outstanding engine performance. The K450 is an awesome engine with consistant reliable results and the L950 is an unbelievably powerful engine that will easily push a rocket past 13,000 feet as long as I can build it to withstand the violent aerodynamic forces at that speed.
